Rites of Passage (ROP)
Rites of Passage (ROP)

The Rites of Passage (ROP) was developed over 20 years ago, and is the signature program of Community Reconstruction Housing, Inc. (the Agency). Church elders, concerned with the number of black boys at-risk for involvement with law enforcement, exhibited a history of poor academic performance, and/or negative peer associations and attitudes toward education, received informal skills training – coaching in how to behave, set goals, complete homework, and become a “man”.
